The first is Venn Diagram Topic Cards. We were asked at an in-service to focus on the topic of animals and create a lesson plan. My entire team had just purchased a Venn Diagram pocket chart from Carson Dellosa. We wanted to be able to give the kids cards related to the topic and have them discuss and place them in the pocket chart. While I was working on the animal topic cards I just kept going and added 50 more topics. They can also be easily used on an anchor chart. You can find the pocket chart and the unit below.

This is the unit I created with 52 different topics to discuss and share. It also includes a Venn Diagram printable to use after the lesson for assessment.

The next unit is something I have been using for years in my classroom. Originally we would draw the lines and write the words to make this journal. So primitive right? To think we didn't create with power point and drew our creations. Ugg! I added several new options to the original pages we made. You can design the journal yourself based on the needs of your little ones.

Thanks for stopping by. I promise it won't be this long until my next post.
